Graciela Schneier-Madanes is an urban planner specializing in water globalization and governance. She is director of the Joint International Center for Water, Environment and Public Policy, between the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in France and the University of Arizona. She coordinates SWAN-Sustainable Water ActioN, and directs the International Network on Governance of Water in the Americas as directeur de recherche at CNRS.
