logo1492 – October 12, 1992: Dr. Schneier-Madanes' book, Notre Amérique Métisse, (Our mestizo heritage in the Americas: Latin America speaks to Europe) was at the core of the International Conference hosted by the Ministère de la Culture and the Minist่re des Affaires Etrangères on October 12, 1992. With Jorge Amado, Carlos Fuentes, Lula, Roberto Marinho among other latinoamerican personalities.
