As a professor Dr. Schneier-Madanes advises several doctoral students and has taught extensively at the IHEAL Institute of Latin American Advanced Studies Université Paris 3-Sorbonne Nouvelle. at the School of Architecture Paris La Villette (ENSAP) Adelante

Since 1986, through an agreement between Sorbonne-Nouvelle and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture Paris La Villette (ENSAP), Dr. Schneier-Madanes has engaged in an original bi-partner teaching program. Together with Prof. Raoul Pastrana, an architect, she founded ADELANTE, a teaching program that aims to connect architecture, urbanism and social sciences through architectural projects and planning. Today this program continues in the current ENSAPLV program.
